If you have that coffee machine, you probably like coffee. One-time serving coffee dosage , to make your drink, is called a coffee pod. Coffee pods are used by the coffee machines to extract it into your hot cup of espresso (or any other type of coffee , that you prefer).
First coffee pods were invented by a company named Senseo, and they look a bit different - like a round tea-bag.
In countries, where English is not a main language, they are sometimes called coffee pads. You might also heared the name coffee bag, but the meaning is the same. Container with a pre-packaged coffee beans, already ground, and in a small bag (which also acts like a filter). This way, you receive instant coffee (without the need to cook one), but at the flavour of brewed one. An excellent combination!
